SlicerDicer to create a monthly Census
Hi! I’m working on a project and having a hard time utilizing the SlicerDicer tool.
I want to populate a list of patients that were covered by a particular provider care team at any point during their admission. I am trying to create a monthly census. After I have that list I will be using it to track LACE+ score and ACP note documentation, but I can’t get an accurate monthly census.
I reached out to the data analyst that was originally helping with this project but honestly I’m not really getting anywhere.
The patients could be in several units through out the hospital, and all have varied length of stays, and the providers/attendings aren’t set. No matter how I try to generate a query I can’t seem to make it work. Even if I could generate a list from one start date to now I could easily organize it by month but I keep doing something wrong.
Any pointers?
