[Jack Mason] Canton Day Date 250 LE

Finally made some time tonight to unbox and size the watch and have to say I’m impressed on first blush. Excellent finishing overall, good AR letting the dial pop, and a glide lock style clasp with tons of range, yet thinner than a Submariner’s from what I can tell.

Looks like more of these Canton Day Dates are on the way as well from the last teaser email.

[Jack Mason] Canton 250 LE

I was able to snag a preorder this morning. I’ve been eyeing the Canton for a while and this LE added a lot of details that I liked- textured dial, gold indices, etc. Did anyone else here grab one?

I pulled my Senna out today and noticed that the Chrono hand sees to move a bit rough. I haven’t worn this in a while and rarely use the Chrono regardless so I’m not certain if this is normal / acceptable for the caliber or not.

Given the watch’s size, I know it’s a long seconds hand and will exaggerate any movement irregularity.

App based timegrapher puts it at -.3 seconds per day and 318 amplitude fully wound, so it sees like the base movement is doing okay.

Chrono engagement and reset are nice and sharp a the seconds had centers exactly. It also appears to be accurate over the course of 5 mins or so, which makes me think the hand isn’t slipping.

What do y’all say?
