Should I quit my internship
So it’s only week 3 and I’ve been sticking it out but the drive is 1hr 30 away and the people I’m supposed to report to act like I don’t exist a( I understand they’re busy) but I don’t hear or see them at all.. no communication.
They have me doing projects but I don’t see the people I can ask. It’s process engineering and I’m electrical engineering as well as being the only girl on the floor and the only intern.
I haven’t really had someone I could talk too and I don’t get that vibe that people want to help, they just quickly explain and go about their day. Not to mention the drive is exhausting. I’m not really learning anything just using chat and Gemini on the job. I have summer classes so I do that but still. The job is 24 an hr and I need $60 worth of gas. They don’t have any breakfast or nothing in the mornings and they expect me to work items and not provide it as well.
