We are just getting around to planning a honeymoon (married Sept 2025) and are hoping to go the week of June 8th. We live in Kentucky and are planning on flying but no more than a 3-4 hour flight. I have looked at:

Mackinac Island

Newport, RI/Block Island (not a great ferry sched by then)

Coastal CT/MD

I don't love anything so far. We just want to go someplace, be able to sit at the beach or at a pool and chill the ef out for a few days and eat some good food. No FL or NC (been there, done that). Must be near a natural body of water. Please help me out here, I just can't think about it anymore.
