How long for excessive burping to subside?

Hi, i'm pretty certain I was in prodromal stage of CHS for the past few months. was experiencing morning nausea, stomach pain, and most noticeably I was almost constantly burping. I'm now 1 month clean of weed, and my nausea has almost completely cleared. However, i'm still burping just as much as I was before recovery. Those with burping as a symptom, how long did it take to go away after quitting? Thanks!

Burping question

Hi there. Being having GI issues for a few months (nausea, abdominal pain, burping), and I suspect prodominal CHS could be the cause due to how frequently I smoke. Other GI causes have either been entirely ruled out by gastroenterologist or awaiting test results. Before anyone asks i'm now 3 days sober, no improvement just yet but I'm planning to stick it out.

One of my most prevalent symptoms is excessive burping. However i've noticed this seems to improve when focused, and family members say they don't notice it at all during my sleep. This possibly suggests supragastric belching, however i'm not sure if that would explain the severity of my nausea or pain (I was in hospital only a couple days ago).

So, I wanted to ask, those of you with burping as a symptom for CHS. Did you find that it improved at all when focused or distracted, and did it persist through your sleep? Many thanks!
