Jason looked around the forest, unsure of what to do. He had retreated here after Afton’s defeat. Already directionless without Eleanor’s guidance, things were made worse as his head began to clear up. What had he done? All of those people he had hurt. He had even lost his own body, replaced by some recreation of a child’s horrible nightmares.
Before he realized what he was doing, his hook slammed into tree bark, bouncing off with some of the bark being peeled off as he pulled it back. This repeated a few more times before he sighed and went back to looking aimlessly around the forest.*
