Anybody else have A/C refrigerant leak in the HV battery?
My 2022 SE had to go into the shop to have the HV battery compartment re-sealed back in 2024 (before the recall, but while still under warranty) but they still did the software update to manage the battery if it got soggy. Good thing, too. In mid-January (three months after the general warranty expired) I got the dreaded "You have a problem with the high voltage battery" warning and it's been in the dealership ever since.
After about three months, the shop told me that fluid from the A/C system (apparently, it also cools the battery) was getting in to the battery compartment. It's been in the shop for more than 5 months now while they "research" the problem with external consulting engineers and a lot of things that require permission from BMW.
Anybody else have problems like this? I doubt it took 5 months to build the car in the first place.
