Candidate for Accreditation

What do we think about applying to a school that is in candidate for accreditation status? should I stay away or is it ok to look into? I know that most schools end up getting accredited and the students are able to sit for the NPTE. I was just wondering because one school I was looking at is only at candidacy right now. Thank you!

Advice/help with applying

Ok, my story is long and probably just like everyone else struggling, but I just want advice. My first 2 years, mostly my second year in undergrad, I did not focus as I should have in school, and it really messed me up. My oGPA is less than 3.0; I believe it is like a 2.8, not sure because my final grades for my last semester are not in yet. My last 60/70 hours are over a 3.0; I believe it is a 3.3 or so. I do have to take one more class this summer due to schedule conflicts, so I am not 100% done with classes, but I have graduated from undergrad and am looking for DPT school. I worked 2 jobs and struggled in some classes, but every class I did badly in, I retook and got a way better grade. The issue is that PTCAS uses all grades, even if retaken, so it decreased my GPA. Anyways, my last 2 years I have gotten over 3.0 GPA, and my preq GPA is over a 3.0, so I just want some advice on where to apply to for grad school. I am looking to start in the fall. If possible, I am just feeling discouraged because I am trying so hard to improve, but I am unsure where to look. I am willing to do hybrid or move for college, I am just kinda desperate to get in somewhere. I have 300 internship hours too, and I am looking for jobs over the summer in the PT area, like a PT aide or rehab tech, to use my degree and get some experience. Any advice is helpful, thank you. Btw, I am originally from Ohio, if that makes a difference in where I should look.
