7-OH deserves serious scrutiny but that's exactly why the Schedule I discussion feels so consequential to me. If there are unanswered questions about risks, dependence, potential uses and how different products compare, I want good research answering them. My concern is whether choosing the most restrictive category while those questions are still being debated makes finding those answers easier or harder. I don't need 7-OH to be harmless to think that's worth asking
