Post Wedding Planner Issues

We got married in Europe last month and while it was beautiful, our planner definitely made some mistakes that impacted the day. Part of that was not putting out a lot of the decor that my husband and I purchased. We spent close to $400 on decor for the bars and cocktail tables, which were explicitly all laid out in our canva deck. I understand things can happen and it’s a busy day, but there were times when we asked her “can you put out the lamp that’s supposed to be on the bar?”, etc on the day and she still didn’t do it. Definitely frustrating as we put a lot of time and effort into the small details, which she was very aware of. Basically all of this to say, should we ask for money back or is this just what happens sometimes? She has an outstanding invoice to us for around the same amount

Bridesmaid Etiquette

Hi! I'm getting married in the SOF and we are doing a bachelorette party in France the week before (3 days before wedding). Am I supposed to give my bridesmaids bach gifts and then also wedding day gifts? Or is it ok to just do 1 gift at the bachelorette which includes everything (including the getting ready PJs) and then not give anything additional on wedding day?

Not submitting RSVPs

Our RSVP deadline is in 4 days and we still have 51 people who haven’t RSVP’d. Some of those individuals have already bought flights and hotels but haven’t RSVPd?

I’d love to not have to follow up with 51 people via text individually. Any suggestions or best way to phrase it in a text?

DJ vs Band

Getting married in the SOF in 3 months and starting to over-think all of the details! We chose a DJ + Sax combo for the wedding instead of a band because previous wedding's we had been to with a band didn't feel like a party. I'm starting to regret this decision - would love to hear thoughts on DJ vs band! We're hoping for it to feel like a big party for everyone

European Linen Providers

I'm getting married in the South of France and fell in love with some linens from BBJ. We went to the showroom, selected them, and then they came back with a 7k fee just for shipping. Does anyone know of any similar/nice linen vendors in Europe?

Ideally looking for some variations of white linens that have nice texture/design!

Aston Bridal

Has anyone purchased a dress from Aston bridal or similar Australian boutiques? I’m considering doing a custom second dress through them but I live in the states so there is no way to try it on beforehand which makes me nervous.

I'm getting married in the SOF and it will be a destination wedding for all of our guests (all coming from the US). If you have been to a destination wedding, what are some details that made you think that guest experience was thought about and prioritized? Anything special that you really appreciated? Thank you!

Hi! I'm finalizing my contract with my HMU for my wedding in the SOF. Is it worth it to pay extra for touch up's? I'm considering having her there until the late after party but not sure whether or not it's worth it
