What's one thing businesses do on social media that instantly makes you scroll away?

For me it's when every post is basically "Buy now!" with different wording.

I'm curious what everyone else's biggest turn-off is.

What's the biggest reason you follow a brand on social media?

For me, it isn't discounts or giveaways anymore. If a brand consistently posts useful or entertaining content, I'm much more likely to stick around.

Curious what makes everyone else hit the Follow button.

I think people trust random reviews more than million-dollar ad campaigns now.

Whenever I'm about to buy something, I almost always end up looking for Reddit threads, YouTube comments, or real customer reviews before I trust what the company says.

It's made me wonder if businesses are putting too much money into ads and not enough into building trust.

Has anyone else noticed themselves shopping this way?

Pick one.

You can't buy more reach.

You can't change the product.

You can't rebrand.

What's the first thing you're investigating?

Social media may be the only marketing channel where customers talk back in public

TV ads don't talk back. Billboards don't talk back. Radio ads don't talk back. Social media is different. Customers can challenge a brand, praise a brand, fact-check a brand, or completely change the
