Best country to form Rome and get the achievement

Hi everyone I want to finally try and form Rome and get the achievement for owning the coastline of the Mediterranean. What the easiest country and best way to go about doing it? I was thinking Ottomans maybe and converting to Christianity to form it? Any help and advice on how to do this would be great thanks.

How to handle coalitions and conquests in age of absolutism

Hi everyone, I’m currently playing the best France game I’ve ever had it’s 1550 I own most of Britain, have burgundy and Russia as pu, strong allies a big army around 100k. I’m pushing in towards Austria, but coalitions have caught up to me. I feel like this could be a good game to try and form Rome for the first time, the problem is when I get to age of absolutism I always seem to slow down conquering, through coalitions mostly stops my progress. I know you’re supposed to juggle truces and attacking in different directions but it still seems like all the little opms and some big nations always coalition me. I’m not very good late game or past age of absolutism really I find from 1444-1550 I’m good and conquer lots of land but I need help how to go forward and conquer all of Europe, I read that high admin efficiently and absolutism itself helps, aside from events and the absolutism gain from reform I don’t really know how to raise it higher any help would be great thanks.
