Can someone help me come up with ways to fix the center? I made a mold and created the center but the mold was off a tad bit as you can see.. using resin tape and duct tape to keep it in place hasn’t really helped 😭

I started my clearance process last year and in that, DCSA contacted my current boss and for verification purposes and my case in process for adjudication.. Now, my boss asks during every 1-1 for an update.. I tried explaining the process could take a year.. and he still asks..
I am aware that he wants to have my replacement ready and is also worried for budget reasons …
any advice?
