Cruise Travel agents - Do you monitor prices

Travel agents that sell cruises - do you proactively monitor cruise pricing for clients? I know it's a touchy subject - some agents think helping clients reprice cuts commissions.... but do you think it builds loyalty? Is it too much of a pain? What's your take?

Roast this - would love actual feedback on a system I developed for cruise research, price history, price drop alerts.

Honest feedback pls....

I've have been lurking and posting in cruise groups for years — I often see people talking about cruise price drops and to get refunds/obc/etc ... As an obsessed (and budget conscious person) - I always reprice cruises but it's a huge pain to go through the booking process or use some of the sites out there that don't have good info. So in my nerdy way, I went down a rabbit hole of creating a (hopefully) better way to get alerts for cruise pricing as well as a way to better research price history and find itineraries across many lines. So I want to get candid feedback from other people in the same "boat" (heh, see what I did there?)

So I made a completely free website/app called Cruise Alert cruisealert.com — to help fellow cruisers set a price alert on any sailing and get pinged when the price moves. There's also full price history so you can actually see what a fare does over time, and a research tool to compare before you book. Totally free, no booking engine — just a passion project from a fellow cruise fan.

Would love to hear what you think! — candid feedback from real cruisers means everything .
