So I just got an hdmi audio extractor because I want to be able to watch movies and play games while using my sound system. When I hooked it up, I ran my ps5 through it, plugged the extractor into a power strip, and I had better audio for my ps5, as my hdmi audio signal was now extracted into rca to be plugged into my receiver. I noticed after starting to watch Purple Rain that audio and video kept cutting out frequently for less than a second and coming back in. I retried and made it work again and it happens less but still periodically

Any solutions or tips?

EDIT: it’s now also only losing audio for less than a second but still losing audio and video as well for the same time every now and then
