Camping gear - mat or sleeping bag
I'm going wildcamping in the Baltic countries (Lithuania, Latvia, but mostly Estonia) in a couple of days and am struggling to decide what gear to take. I have a hammock, tarp but no underquilt - my options are either my Snugpak Extreme sleeping bag, which is - 7°C comfort and amazing but MASSIVE or a mat for isolation and borrowing a smaller sleeping bag from a friend (10°C comfort, 5°C limit). I highly doubt I'll have the space to take the snugpak and the mat. Based on the forecasts I saw it's generally going to be 8-12°C at night, but could be down to feeling like 5°. I haven't been hammock camping before so I dont reallg know what to expect.
Worst case scenario as long as I have my snugpak sleeping bag I'm okay w sleeping on the ground :) But was looking forward to the hammock upgrade
