Counting Dives

I am sooooo close to my 100-dive mark, so I'm here for thoughts/opinions...

I have two Discover Scuba dives that I did pre-OW certification, and 4 dives that were required to get my OW cert. I know most people count the 4 dives required for my cert, but should I count the 2 Discover Scuba dives as well?

After a week of diving...

After a week of diving, and trying out a couple of new brands/products, I have some definite recommendations (in no particular order)!

1: Fog-X Mask Films - I have NEVER been able to have a consistently fog-free mask. UNTIL NOW. 16 dives (84° salt water in Jamaica), ALL completely fog free! (Well, except when it was user error and I forgot to actually do what I was supposed to do, but that's 100% on me!)

2: Spacefish Army Rashguards - these were seriously SO comfortable, and so bright under water! They're pricey, but IMO, worth every penny.

3: Spacefish Army Headbands - they don't have any grippies, so ymmv, but they stayed put on my tiny peanut head, so I call it a WIN! They held my wispies back with absolutely no slipping. And again, the colors/patterns were so pretty under water!

4: AquaLung Mask Fast Strap - this is seriously the first time I've been able to easily adjust my mask, and not have a ton of hair caught up like a birds' nest!

5: Stream2Sea Gear Wash - kept my gear from smelling like rotten seaweed the entire trip! I even shared with some fellow divers when they asked how I managed to not smell like a dirty foot after a couple of days.

6: Stream2Sea Swim Strong Shampoo Bar - for a solid shampoo bar, this thing packs a punch! LOTS of suds, so I didn't have to question if it was working in my hair. Got all of the yucky salt, sand, and chlorine (thanks to the pool/hot tub) out of my hair beautifully. No icky residue (from any of the above, or the shampoo), no stringy hair, no dried/fried hair!

7: Stream2Sea Leave In Conditioner - this is my HOLY GRAIL product! I've been using it for years. I can't sing it's praises loud enough. I use a tiny bit in my wet hair before jumping off the boat, then rub over my braids when I'm done diving before undoing and combing. This stuff makes combing my hair after a dive a BREEZE! I shared with all the girls on the boat, and they all informed me they ordered some before they even left the resort.

Seriously, go check some of these out!

I do have a discount code for Stream2Sea that I am happy to share with anyone who wants to use it. (I don't want to be flagged for "advertising", so better safe than sorry!)

Just venting for a moment…

Just need to vent momentarily. Currently on vacation in Jamaica. Brought my fairly expensive (for me) SeaLife Micro 3.0. I. HATE. IT!

THIRTY minutes to download three thirty second videos from today’s dives. And countless disconnects trying to download the still photos.
If it wouldn’t be polluting, I’d sink this POS at the bottom of the ocean tomorrow.

That being said: give me the cons of the Olympus TG-6 (or 7). I already know the pros (I think), but need to know if I’m just throwing money down the drain with that one too.

Thank you in advance!
