How are MERN/Full-Stack devs actually landing remote roles right now? Beyond the usual LinkedIn spam
Hey everyone,
I’m a Full-Stack MERN developer looking to transition into a new remote role, but the current market feels incredibly crowded with generic job board postings and ghost listings.
My core stack is MongoDB, Express, React, and Node, but I heavily build with Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and modern state management like Zustand and Redux Toolkit. I’m comfortable handling everything from building out robust REST APIs to optimizing frontend performance and UI/UX layouts.
For those of you who have landed solid remote gigs recently:
- What specific platform, community, or strategy actually worked for you?
- Are there specific tech sectors or niche job boards (besides the usual LinkedIn/Indeed) that are heavily hiring JavaScript/TypeScript full-stack devs right now?
- Any specific keywords or architectural skills I should emphasize in my resume to stand out in automated tracking systems?
Appreciate any insights, brutal resume advice, or directions to active dev communities!
