Has anyone used a Honeywell MiniRAE 3000+ Handheld VOC Detector?

I was wondering how good these are in terms of can they detect background VOC's for example if a supermarket is using a ridiculous amount of fragrance via the HVAC (with no regard to the health of: anyone with a medical condition negatively affected by fragrance, pregnant women, employees and just the general health and wellbeing of anyone in the premises)

Was considering if i could rent one out to use one to assess and test as there is a growing number of people who are finding it too overwhelming and becoming very ill in the UK from it

Anyone successfully added a drinking/straw valve on a half mask respirator?

Hey all, Multiple Chemical Sensitivity sufferer from the UK (I get migraine with brainstem aura and more issues when i am exposed to chemicals/fragrance/smoke etc)
With the hot weather this year and having no choice but to wear a half mask respirator with ABEK1 filters to be able to board Buses, Trains ive had a bit of trouble staying hydrated

Wondering if anyone has successfully fitted a drinking straw to a half mask respirator ? Its not even worth taking it off for a second to sip/drink on the train as i always end up inhaling some fragrance (i was never good at stopping water going up my nose when swimming)

I mostly use the Climax masks , a spanish company. have model 755 and 756

Post pictures if possible for inspiration. Im guessing a spare exhale valve could work in this instance? i was thinking of trying to fit a honey bottle lid or something?

Why isnt MCS seen as a disability by majority of people?

I don't understand why we are mostly unable to be treated as though we face difficulty in navigating life? I once wrote on a disability forum just to see if anyone else has MCS (it was on rare disease/illness category) and i described the difficulties in life and even simple things like getting in and out of flat/apartment with shared communal area where neighbours were spraying air 'freshener' and smoking , apparantly according to other users of the disability forum requesting that people dont smoke or use fragrance in a communal area is 'too much' 'asking for too much' 'unreasonable' and many more until i kinda had a meltdown and got banned from that forum lol

Its very strange to me that its not seen as a disability. Many of us miss out on family gatherings we miss out on Weddings, Funerals, Birthdays. We put off getting healthcare because we know damn well the drs surgeries and hospitals are danger zones for anyone with MCS and most drs are wearing aftershave/perfume for some reason these days. We also have to deal with people staring scowling and being nasty if we have to wear masks (people are still obsessed with covid! didnt even have the vaccine myself yet to them its still all about covid they cant possibly fathom that my grey coloured mask is for something other than covid) then there are service workers/visits to our homes. For many, our homes are our only real safe space and to request reasonable adjustments is just ignored. It shouldnt cost days of illness every time you need something serviced/fixed/ mandatory inspections etc. Even a simple shopping trip entails being blasted at by scent marketing idiots products without consent. Life is such a minefield with MCS

So how is being intolerant to so many common items in day to day , and experiencing severe symptoms not being disabled i dont understand it? how is it not a medical need?
