Stage 4?

57’ M, 170lb.

Well just a couple months after a PET that was NED, my latest CT just showed two small lesions on my liver. I’ve been feeling great, back to 95% where I was before diagnosis and this just sucks.

My wife and I are kind of in shock and not really sure where things go from here. I put in a call to my oncologist (results just came in at 4pm) and they were already working on a plan.

I’d like to hear feedback, especially any positive stories from others that have been in my position.

CA19.9 is still dropping and at 17.4 today and CYA is at 12.3 but they never measured this earlier when I was going through treatment so we don’t really have much of a trend.

I’ve been fighting pancreatic cancer for the last year and I’m still clear so that fight is going well. Over the last 4 months or so I’ve had an issue come up that none of my Drs have ever heard of or have any idea what it could be.

It starts out of nowhere with no obvious triggers, it’s happening more frequently now, from once per month when it started to a couple of times a week and even while I’m sleeping.

What happens is that both sides of my jaw become extremely painful simultaneously and within seconds both of my traps and my chest (center, right below sternum) become extremely painful as well. The whole thing lasts for about a minute and then ends with a headache that lasts for about 5-10min. I’d put the pain at an 8, I’m unable to talk or move when it’s happening and even breathing is a struggle. The jaw pain is similar to first bite syndrome but is always on both sides and not related to eating.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
