After seeing all the hype surrounding the LHP531, I decided to check it out for myself. I initially planned to take the easy route and order a Convoy S2+ with 10a driver but really wanted something with Anduril.

I ended up ordering the emitter in 4000k from Simon and a Sofirn SC31 Pro from AliExpress (roughly $14 with coupons).

Long story short, the SC31 Pro arrived in the mail today and I now have a very impressive budget light running Anduril.

I wasn’t able to lock the white balance on my phone when taking the pictures, but the photos aren’t far off. The fence at the far side of picture 3 was approximately 120 meters away.

Local Walmart had WD Black 4TB drives on sale for $55 last week. Picked 2 up but haven’t opened them yet. Went to a different location today and found a 12TB Seagate Expansion on sale for $175. Shucked it and found an Exos X24 inside.

Though the price per TB is better with the WD, do you think it’s worth keeping them since 4TB fills up so quickly these days?
