Hi everyone,

We’ve got a fresh FygoOS update out today.

This week, FygoOS brings a new API framework for developers. Third-party apps can now declare and call APIs for authorized folders, authorized files, and more, making it easier to use system capabilities within clearer permission boundaries.

Mac On-Demand Sync is also officially here in FygoSync. NAS files can now appear directly in Finder without downloading everything locally. Files download when opened, changes sync back to your NAS, and you can use options like “Always Keep on This Mac” and “Free Up Space.”

Fygo App, Fygo TV mobile app, Fygo TV for Android TV, and Fygo TV for Apple TV also get updates, with continued improvements for device access code validation, STRM playback, and client stability.

We’ve got a fresh FygoOS update out today.

NAS devices are often accessed remotely, so stronger protection at the entry point matters. In this release, FygoOS adds a new access code feature: before reaching the login page, app entry points, or supported client connections, users must first pass access code verification.

The access code does not replace your account password. Instead, it adds an independent layer of protection to help reduce unwanted scans and malicious login attempts. Used together with 2FA, HTTPS, and IP protection, it can make remote access to your NAS more secure.

This week, FygoOS x86 is updated to v1.2.0302, adding access code support and Security and Stability Updates. Photos is updated to v0.9.9, with expanded photo, RAW, and video format support, plus improvements to thumbnails, scanning, and preview stability. Fygo App, Fygo TV, Fygo TV for Android TV, Fygo TV for Apple TV, and FygoSync have also been updated to support the access code flow.

1. Added support for enabling and configuring an access code. After it is enabled, an extra layer of protection is added before accessing the device. Users must pass access code verification before entering the system and apps, reducing external access risks.

This release expands FygoOS for ARM to more Raspberry Pi devices, including Raspberry Pi 3B / 3B+ / 3A+ / 4B / 5 across 1GB to 16GB variants. More ARM users can now experience FygoOS on compact, low-power hardware.

iSCSI is also officially available on ARM with v1.1.0, making it possible to use NAS storage like a local hard drive. Office Documents gets an update too, with a newer OnlyOffice engine, more stable previews, and support for copying text directly from document previews.

We’ve got a fresh set of FygoOS updates out today.

This update introduces file request links in Files, automatic app updates in App Center, and a substantial round of Docker improvements including container import/export, macvlan and ipvlan network creation, and GPU resource support during container setup.
It also includes a broad set of fixes and optimizations across Network Settings, AI Service, Resource Manager, Transcoding Service, and File Services, along with another round of stability and playback improvements across the Fygo app on both Android and iOS.

1. Link Aggregation now supports aggregating 2 to 8 network interfaces.
2. Optimized IPv6 policy routing to prevent residual rules from affecting usage.
3. Fixed an issue where the wireless card could not be enabled when the Wi-Fi configuration was missing.
4. Fixed an issue where network interface names might change after restarting the device, ensuring consistent naming.
