How do you label the buttons on your Stream Dock? Just icons, text underneath, or a bit of both?
Once you’ve used a page for a while, do you still look at the labels, or does your hand just know where to go?
I’m also curious how many of you keep everything in one matching theme versus mixing whatever icons are easiest to recognize. Feel free to share a screenshot of your everyday setup.
A different question about the M3 and Mini.
Instead of asking whether you like the products, I’m more curious about where they actually fit into your setup.
If you already use a Stream Dock, would you ever add an M3 or Mini next to it?
What would you use it for?
Audio control? App shortcuts? Editing? Streaming? Smart home stuff? Something else?
Or do they just overlap too much with a normal Stream Dock?
I’m trying to understand whether these smaller devices have a clear place on the desk, or if they’re solving a problem that most people don’t really have.

We’ve been going through some of the Stream Dock tutorials lately and realized there are probably still a bunch of plugins/scenes that people are just figuring out on their own.

We’ve been playing around with a new control console idea for designers and creators.
Still too early to show the whole thing, but the focus is pretty simple: less clicking through menus, more stuff right at your fingertips.
Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, Blender, DaVinci — that kind of workflow.
If you could put one thing on a console like this, what would it be?

I’ve been thinking about keyboard layouts recently, especially the F-row area.
For a lot of users, F1–F12 are useful, but they’re not used equally often by everyone. Some people rely on them every day, while others mostly use them through shortcuts or software-specific functions.
So here’s the idea:
What if the F-row area became a small touch display / control panel instead?
It could still provide F1–F12 access when needed, but also switch to other layouts depending on what you’re doing, such as:
For example, when working, it could show productivity shortcuts.
When gaming, it could show game-related actions.
When editing, it could show timeline or tool controls.
But I also understand the downside: physical keys are faster, easier to feel, and don’t require looking down.
So I’m curious:
Would a touchscreen F-row actually be useful to you, or would you rather keep real physical keys?
A. I’d try a touchscreen F-row
B. I prefer physical F keys
C. I’d like both if the layout is done well
D. I don’t really use the F-row either way
What would make this kind of design practical instead of just a gimmick?
