Make background available to all themes?

I frequently change my theme - light during day, dark during night. I'd love to have custom backgrounds available to all themes. When I go through the menu > install > style > background, it pops the directory for the current theme. Is there to add a background.jpg so it's available in the theme menu for all themes - not just the current one?

compose.yaml Vs docker-compose.yml

I see that the official docs have recommended naming the file compose.yaml for years - but most articles online seem to default to docker-compose.yml. is there any good reason for this? Am I doing something wrong by continuing to use compose.yaml?

What is the safest way to know which lib to install?

So I need to install the Bambu Labs 3d printing software for my son. But going to the AUR, there are a bunch that all seem preftty legit. The bin ones reference the correct Github repo. What's the best way to know which one to install? I know there's no guarantee of legitimacy in the AUR - so what's the best way to make a decision about what to install? I was looking for an 'install count' or something so I could just pick the most popular but I don't see one in the Omarchy menu. Help?

Claude code in the terminal vs in the AI chat widget?

I think it's 100% a me issue, but I'm really not sure why I would prefer to use the Claude code terminal shortcut (which I guess just launches claude in a terminal saving me the trouble of typing 'claude') - vs using the AI chat widget and selecting claude agent from those available.

Can anyone suggest why I might prefer one over the over? Does the AI chat widget get more access to PhpStorm's LSP server or something? Is it more token efficient or can it use the IDE's refactoring tools more effectively?

TIA for any info - perhaps I'm the only idiot that doesn't understand this 😄

5.1 Sound control app

What are people using to manage their 5.1 sound output? Coming from windows, I'm used to using a GUI to configure the speakers - whether they are full frequency range speakers, which output is the subwoofer channel etc. I've installed pavucontrol, but the output looks very sparse by comparison.

I've got a logitech 5.1 set of speakers, and a Gigabyte Gaming 7 motherboard if that makes any difference to the recommendations.

TIA.

Jump to open app VS open new instance via app launcher?

I'd love to be able to use the app launcher, but having the option of jumping to an existing instance of the app already running if there is one already open. For example, something like selecting the app in the list, and pressing shift+enter to jump to it if already open.

Does anyone know if such a thing exists already? I'm not 100% certain what the default app launcher is - is it rofi or wofi? TIA

FWIW: New Omarchy user - really enjoying the *massive* improvement in speed and responsiveness, especially in my Laravel PHP development.
