Recently (almost a week ago), I broke my wrist after a mountain biking crash. The official diagnosis is a closed fracture at the distal end of the right radius. The doctor I saw didn't recommend a cast, so I've been wearing a wrist brace to keep it from moving too much. However, my wrist has been feeling a bit better and I have started being able to eat, do light weightlifting, and perform normal tasks again, though my range of motion is limited to about 50% of what it once was. My question here is, given that I've only broken it a week ago and I'm already able to use it somewhat, what would the timeframe look like for being able to use it at full range of motion again? Are there any stretches or exercises I could do to help my wrist recover faster? I'd appreciate any advice here, thanks in advance :)
