Beginner Sprint

Hi everyone,
I’m looking to do my first ever triathlon in November - probably a sprint distance.
I can do the distance for each discipline independently, just need to put them together and get a bit quicker - would be about 1hour 55mins now (not including transitions or accumulated fatigue).
I just have no idea where to start and what to structure my training and weeks like. I already go to the gym a couple times a week, I just don’t know how to structure triathlon focused workouts that can support my other training.
Would love some advice about how to train (swim, cycle, run) and what to do in the gym. I trust your tried and true methods better than all the different articles online 😅
Thank you!

Struggling - don’t know if I can continue

Hi everyone,
I’m (young female) working casually at a boy’s high school.
I’m constantly faced with kids being disrespectful, outright ignoring me and not taking me seriously.
I’ve spoken to another teacher (older, male) ahead of taking his classes and he expressed that the boys I named as my most challenging were surprising to him. Even after he had a talking to with the class, some of the boys acted out.
I’m struggling to motivate myself to go everyday. I said yes to a block for a couple weeks - I hesitated and wasn’t sure but I did. But now when I think about going, I’m dreading it and get a lot of anxiety from the thought of having to go through it all again because I’m always worried it’s going to get worse.
I would love some opinions on what I should do.

Casual Teacher Behaviour Management

Hi all, I’ve recently started working casual in high school and after a day at an all boys school I’ve found myself struggling.

I had a year 9 class of boys who were throwing things, yelling, purposely doing the wrong thing on their devices and ignoring all redirections and instructions. I asked the teacher next door (who popped her head in because of the noise) if I could send some boys to her and the students flat out refused me and the other teacher.

I made a list of names to report to their teacher (and told them I was - but not who) and this still didn’t deter them.

How am I meant to manage and teach a class of kids in which most are plain disrespectful and refusing to listen, ignoring me and doing whatever they want? Acting like I’m not even in there, or even looking me in the eyes when I tell them not to do something, then doing it.

It’s been really disheartening but I’m trying to not let it stop me from going back… so any and all advice will be much appreciated.

For context: I’m a young female teacher which probably doesn’t help.
