hey everyone, hoping someone can shed some light on this because i'm really confused about the JD CSP offer timeline.

so i'm currently finishing my undergrad at USYD, and ill be done at the end of 2026. i've currently been offered a full-fee JD place at USYD (conditional) commencing Feb 2027, as USYD does not offer CSP until you have finished your degree (so hopefully, this will be reassessed once i'm done)

my confusion is this: from what i can see, JD CSP offers at UNSW came out around October 2025 for the 2026 intake. if the same thing happens this cycle and offers come out October 2026, my final semester results won't be out yet, so how would they even calculate my final WAM to rank me for a CSP?

does this mean:

1. CSP offers go out before final results are in, based on your WAM up to that point?

2. or do they wait until you've completed and then do a separate round of CSP allocations closer to February?

3. does UNSW do it differently?

I would really appreciate anyone who's been through this or knows how the process works. there's barely any info about this online!

Didn’t get CSP for JD with 83+ WAM.

Got my offer today for the JD at USyd, full fee paying. I’m a current 3rd year USyd student and was pretty confident I’d be competitive for a CSP based on everything I’d seen online suggesting 80+ was the benchmark.

Has anyone else received their JD offers today? Did you get CSP, and if so what was your WAM?

Does anyone know if there is a wait list for this sort of stuff? I am applying for 2027 cohort.

I would really appreciate any advice
