Hello, I’m not too familiar when it comes to medication other than basic research.

If this helps, im a 19F who’s 154 pounds who struggles with MDD, anxiety and panic attacks.

I got prescribed gab only for my anxiety and sleep paralysis but doctor tells me to take no more than 300mg due to drowsiness. As the person I am, i’ve been taking 700mg and it genuinely makes me feel so joyful without any worry and without feeling drowsy.

So I took that last night and a friend gave me a xanax 4mg to try as he abuses it. Once I was a bit sober off gab i took it and absolutely nothing happened and I still felt like my anxious self.

Why did i not feel a difference ?

Please no hate Im genuinely extremely new to all this.
