Med
I honestly don’t know why this has been my path. I’ve been delayed in med school for 2 years—despite passing my exams, I was still failed for reasons I never really understood, so I had to transfer to another institution and start over. Now, while preparing for the boards, it feels like every possible problem came at once—financial struggles, physical exhaustion, family problems, emotional battles… name it. And sometimes, I can’t help but wonder, “Lord, why?” What makes it harder is seeing people who cheated their way through med school, even those who were experts at cheating, already become licensed doctors, while I’m still here fighting so hard just to reach the same finish line. I’m not going to lie, sometimes it makes me question everything. Why does the road have to be so difficult for me? Why so many delays? Why so many things I have to overcome?
