Demand/play barking advice

Hi all,

My girl Lola is quiet for about 23 hours and 45 minutes of the day. But in the past few months she's developed a habit of barking for a few minutes at a time. Also a bit of soft snapping (minimal).

It seems to be triggered by seeing me sat on the sofa and not really doing anything - she probably thinks this is perfect play time!

I think it's stimulation/play oriented, because if I get up and do anything it stops.

However, I don't want to "reward" the barking and snapping with a toy or fussing because then she might start doing it more. I really want to discourage it as I have small children in my life.

So, any advice on getting on top of that? Maybe I need to anticipate the boredom before the starts and get ahead with the toy then? Maybe I just need to sit on the sofa less. Lol.

Hot take: Jessa and Adam's money

I love Jessa, I love Adam, and I love Adam and Jessa, BUT want to share this speculation/observation:

Tl:Dr, how much is Jessa with Adam for his income potential?

There is a heavy theory that Jessa is pregnant in the finale with Adams baby.

We get the impression that Adam's career is on the up and up, one might speculate that he goes on to become a well respected, well known and therefore wealthy actor. Jessa knows this and believes in/predicts his success.

We know Jessa didn't get with Thomas John by accident, and the fact that he is "the only guy who made a profit in the recession" will have been a (sub)conscious element in her decision making.

Jessa has grown up around money is one respect or another, and never had to rely on modest, consistent income to survive. It would follow that she would proceed in the same way and find a way to fund this.

So do we think that Jessa is going to be accidentally on purpose having a baby by a wealthy actor who can fund her lifestyle well into the future, even if they separate? How conscious/subconscious do we think this is for her in her attraction to Adam?

Kibble mixing thoughts?

Hi all,

I'm considering moving Lola (2 years ex racer) on to Purina Pro Plan gastrointestinal mix. However, it's twice the price of current food (Time Retired).

I'm just wondering if the benefits of PPP would still be had if I mixed the food, giving her half of each each day. That's as well as half a can of sardines and lots of treats each day!
