I just started playing Valorant and I'm completely new to the game (and tactical shooters in general).

I'm confused about a few things:

• What should I focus on first as a beginner?
• What are the most important mechanics to learn?
• What exactly is the Spike?
• How does planting and defusing the Spike work?
• Any beginner mistakes I should avoid?
