So, I made this Gambit deck where you just want to get Nightcrawler going and then you save up charge counters to end the Villain with big attacks.

Gambit's big defense stat and team of allies help him survive while you set up your board, always taking advantage of Creole Charmer and Professor X to flip to Alter-Ego and chill.

With Gambit's strong economy, I went a little greedy with big cards like Avengers Mansion, Helicarrier and X-Jet, as it is essencial to have a lot of resources to keep replaying Nightcrawler. Nick Fury and Ironheart, as usual, help find the cards you need to get your engine going.

I found Counter-punch really useful with this build, which is cool because I never used the card before. 😁

Kind of tricky to navigate, something I do enjoy, so I had a lot of fun with this one. 🙃

Do you guys like Gambit as a Hero?

Edit: Forge is the 40th card, he is MIA in the picture. 😅 Oh, and I'm only playing with cards up to Wave 6. 🙃

As suggested by u/XaosII I took my Colossus deck up against Expert Crossbones.

I was excited to take a break from Ronan and Magneto and expected a challenge, as Crossbones' piercing ability seemed to be a direct counter to Colossus. Unfortunately the game was quick. 🫤

After taking a nasty hit to the face on the first turn from Crossbones, he remained either Stunned or Confused the rest of the game thanks to Steel Fist and Professor X.

I didn't even use the Organic Steels, they just sat on the board just in case. Even though Juggernaut made an appearence, it was too late for Crossbones and I finished him off with a Made of Rage.

Do you guys recommend any challenge for me? 🙂

I've started playing with wave 6 recently and Colossus stood out as being maybe too good? I mean, Iron Will is just bonkers. 😅😋

It looked like he would be perfect for a Protection build with Unflappable and those shenanigans, so of course I didn't do that and went with Justice instead. 🙃

After some tweaking while playing against Magneto I ended up with this list and boy, after he builds his board, there's just nothing the Villain can do... Played a game against Ronan afterwards and just steam rolled him. 😂

What are your thoughts?
