MechE Majors:

MechE majors: Past, present and future:
If you had a chance to have gone/go to community college for free and get some of your classes out-of-the-way and then transfer over to NJIT, would you (have- in hindsight)?
My real question I guess: is it worth 16.5K( billed) to be at NJIT for the first two years?
Got a 4K a year scholarship, and plan on commuting 35-45 minutes by car.
Thanks in advance- not an easy question.

Hi, I need help! First year Student

I’m taking my placement exam tomorrow @1pm. I was told to check my NJIT email, but I cannot find my email link once I’m signed in with my UCID to access the mail with the test center details. Tomorrow is the last day for this exam and I need to know where it’s taking place. I would appreciate any help at this point. Thank you.

****Edited. Reached help desk. Problem solved. Thank you.

First year- ME - worth living on campus vs commute by car fr bergen cty

Hey, my cousin attending NJTech 1st yr ME student in Fall. Is it better to stay on campus or commute? No traffic.- 25 minutes/ traffic- ?? Aside from saving money; are there benefits to living on campus now vs 2nd or 3rd year? Student clubs, tutoring in eves, student life, etc that they might be missing out on as a commuter?
If they stay on campus, which building is best?
Thank you :-/
