Long-time lurker, first time actually posting something like this - so bear with me if I get the etiquette slightly wrong.
We launched Vastavik on Product Hunt today. I wanted to skip the typical "check out my product" post and instead share why we built it, since I think the actual problem is more interesting than the product itself.

AI can now convincingly fake a photo, video, or someone's voice in minutes. Most tools trying to fix this focus on detection - scan content, guess if it's fake. We built something different: instead of trying to catch fakes after they spread, we let creators register their content the moment they publish it, so there's an independent, checkable record proving it's genuinely theirs. Not claiming this solves deepfakes - it only protects content people actually choose to register, and adoption is the real challenge with anything like this. But it felt like a missing piece worth building.
