The changes to VeChain's finality mechanism is one of the more under-appreciated Interstellar upgrades. Here's why it matters for our vision of the future:

Two key groups demand deterministic finality: enterprise users and AI agents.

  1. Full Ethereum compatibility via sequential EVM upgrades (Cancun, Prague, Fusaka, Glamsterdam).

  2. JSON-RPC equivalence: Hardhat, Foundry, MetaMask, Ethers.js all work natively on VeChainThor with no custom adapters - crosschain compatibility goes 10x.

  3. Transaction finality: committee-based validation for deterministic settlement.

  4. Validator flexibility: new delegation controls for a more diverse, resilient validator set.

  5. On-chain RWA attestation: cryptographic proof that a tokenized asset corresponds to a real-world counterpart.
