I have top surgery tmrow morning. I have my friend coming to stay with me and hes taking time off work, how many days did you need someone by ur side? Also got any advice for me, im worried how drowsy ill be when im leaving the clinic and if ill even be able to hold a conversation.
Im overweight and have fat on me that i really want to get rid of… during recovery do you eat a lot less and end up losing weight because youre taking in less calories ?
I was in the sun too long yesterday and have sunburn on my shoulder areas, shoulder blades, and chest (i was wearing a tank top, so the burns are wherever it wasnt covering my skin).. so i have redness where the neck of the tanktop sat on my chest but i know wherever the incision will be is far from this area! The sunburnt skin wont be cut… do u think my surgeon is gonna postpone my top surgery? Its the day after tomorrow. Ive been putting after sun aloe on and i really hope the redness goes down before surgery day. So scared and nervous it’ll be postponed. Am i freaking out for no reason?
Hi i have surgery in a week and am really worried and nervous for how recovery will be. Im in a fulltime college program that will have a lot of physical components. Would be able to even carry a backpack say 4 days post op? (With minimal stuff inside).. will i be able to sit for 6 hours a day in lecture? Im super stressed! This is the worst timing ever
Im starting a pre-apprentice arborist program soon and im going to have surgery that will highly limit any upper body strain for 4-6 weeks… my surgery will occur in week 2 of the program.. so ill go into week 3 while in recovery. Should i be nervous? Does the physical portion of this program start right away??
