Recovery slides with toe cover?

Hi all. PF/heel pain sufferer here. Only relief I've found is Hoka's recovery slide sandals, but I work in healthcare and need toe coverage. Has anyone found recovery slides or mules that offer relief and have a closed toe? (I tried Hoka's recovery mule and it was honestly too ugly to wear in front of patients and had a bunch of open holes that aren't good for a clinical environment)

I've also recently tried Oofos recovery slides and don't feel that same immediate relief as I do with the hokas. Thank you in advance!

ID guesses/thoughts?

Hi! Purchased unknown tubers from Russell mills and based on their website I think the first is Rip city, the second is maybe black satin or diva, and the white/cream is maybe center court but I’d love some additional thoughts or opinions!

Legality of not doing adjustment on PRDP?

Do we have to do fourth adjustment on a partial for patient with over $900 outstanding balance on it?

A really difficult patient has come in for 3 adjustments on a lower partial and keeps complaining it’s different “width and length” from his original. He has an outstanding balance of over $900 on the partial and refuses to pay until it “feels right” (It is useable he just has no ridge) Been very abusive and yelling at staff and doctor so was sent dismissal letter last week but has an appointment for another adjustment on Monday. If he refuses to pay before being seated do we have to see him and do the adjustment? There is no acute tissue damage being done and he has a previous partial that’s functional as well

ID help! Upward blooms

Hi all! Have an unknown tuber blooming from Russell mills. The blooms seem to all face straight up to the sky instead of outward. Plant is on the shorter side, probably about 3’ tall and the blooms are 3-4 inches. Stems are darker brown but a pale green toward the bloom. The picture makes it look very pink but in person it has much more peachy/apricot tones to it. I was thinking maybe salmon runner or mission zest?
Thanks for the help!

ID help?

Tried really hard but picture doesn’t capture some of the yellow tones in the petals. Plant is about 3 feet high and 3ish inch blooms, maybe slightly smaller

Effective method for pest management?

I’m growing dahlias and zinnias and overall they are doing well but I do find some pests munching on leaves and hiding in the blooms. I believe I have spider mites, ants, and white flies. Maybe aphids. I want to avoid using anything toxic for pollinators and good guy bugs like ladybugs. Also worried about burning or harming my dahlias. It’s not a bad infestation as far as I can tell but I don’t want it getting out of hand

I’ve tried releasing ladybugs and lacewig larvae already

A new bombshell has entered the villa…

Any ID ideas? I have a confirmed foxy lady growing so I don’t think this one is that variety. Grown from tuber purchased from Russell mills farms

Watering panic please advise!

Hi! First time dahlia grower here (from tubers). This is my first time ever having land to garden on (7a) and I have two raised beds with dahlias and some cosmos and zinnias. My dahlias have really taken off the past month with really thick central stalks and lots of bushiness but no blooms that I can see. I got a random assortment of random tubers from Russell Mills Farms

Just saw something about needing to do deep watering which I don’t think is what I’ve been doing. We’re in a drought where I am but I’ve been watering the base of the plants every evening to about an index finger length of dampness in the soil but after reading the below article I’m worried I’m doing the wrong thing and doomed to a fate of no blooms! I apologize the pics aren’t great, they are all I have of recent growth

Hi! I started these indoors last month and am in 7b so was hoping to get them planted outside next week. Most have just been chilling with the eye swelling a little but some have started sprouting leaves… the problem with that is I didn’t plant them 5-6 inches in their indoor pots, very surface level actually, so I’m not sure how to plant them outdoors. Do I need to wait for the stalk to get up to 5-6 inches so the tuber can be at that depth and leaves not covered?

Hello! First time grower here! I started this tuber indoors on 4/21 but it was actually delivered with this shoot already formed. I Placed in damp but not soaked soil and haven’t watered since. Just wanted to confirm I shouldn’t water it yet even though it has the shoot. Thank you!
