PSA Sherbourne health patients
Hey all! For anyone that goes to Sherbourne health I want to just let y’all know that in the coming weeks there’s going to be free massage therapy services specifically for trans affirming care.
It’s with my school Sutherland Chan, we’re student massage therapists and we have an offsite clinic there for trans folks receiving care.
In case you’re wondering, massage therapy can help with:
-minimizing appearance of scars/ immobility of scars from gender affirming surgery
-relieving symptoms from binding
-treat postural impairments from binding, surgeries, etc.
-mental health support, calm the nervous system
-reconnecting with your body or supporting overall feelings of connectedness
-we can also assess (not diagnose) various conditions to help narrow down causes for aches and pains
We will be there every Tuesday from May 26th- July 23rd!
