Bitwig 6.1 is great. Thank you for the sampler!
I'd not updated my 12-month sub since 2024 but recently did due to, primarily, the new sampler.
I'd been on BitWig since 1.0. To be honest I only bought it as it was cheaper than Ableton and, at the beginning, the inference was that it was effectively the 'real next gen Ableton'. I also use Logic as I record live bands and musicians but for anything hiphop or electronic it was BitWig for years.
However, a couple of years back I did invest in full version Ableton as, working in education, the pricing wasn't too bad. I make such extensive use of Simpler, not having something like that in BitWig was a show shopper, a huge irritation. That said, there were ways to be creative in BitWig I missed after using it for so many years but I'm not one to juggle multiple DAWs: I just want to sit down and make music, not learn DAW software endlessly.
Well, the Sampler--for me, at least--now does everything I need it to do and more. Okay, something like this should have been in 1.0, or at least 2.0, and we've waited until 6.1...
But, okay... I FORGIVE YOU BITWIG.
I am, once more, a fan and advocate.
