Manufacturer here. Looking for honest feedback on our sensors,
I'm one of the founders of Versa Wireless — we make wireless security sensors — so I obviously have a horse in this race. Felt like the honest thing was to put that in the first line instead of burying it.
We've built sensors for about 25 years, most of it as the OEM behind brands you'd recognize, and recently started selling under our own name. The thing about being "new" under our own label is that no installer should take our word that the stuff is good.
So rather than run ads at you, I'd rather put them in your hands. We'll send 5 free sensors to working dealers/installers to try on a real job — door/window contacts, shock, and motion, across 319.5 / 345 / 433 MHz and Z-Wave, so they fit Qolsys, Honeywell/Resideo, GE/Interlogix, DSC, and Alarm.com.
