Does my Stratocaster Sound wrong?
I recently bought this electric guitar

and when I compared the DI sound of my guitar to other HSS in videos it sounded weirdly dull, I can't explain it. The high strings sound quieter compared to the other strings and theres a weird lack of clarity. I bought this guitar because I'm a big fan of it's versatility with the Humbucker for distorted stuff and the other 2 picks for clean stuff, and HSS's are also what 80s clean LA tone guitarists like Steve Lukather used, which is a tone I'm desperately trying to recreate but I am struggling and I am wondering if there's something wrong with the tone. I run everything through a 2i2 on instrument mode. Here is some audio of the guitar as I switch through the pickups. What can be done about this? any advice?
