I am a freshman in HS trying to tackle my new NYSSMA Solo piece (Level VI)! Before you say why am I even doing the max level as a freshman, I got a 94 last season doing a Level V, soooo… How should I start practicing this piece?!?!? The first few measure are easy but even if I practice really slowly it’s gets pretty confusing with the string changes every beat. Tips?

About this whole AI commercial situation, the ad is clearly not an official ad from Laufey or her team. It is instead a VISA commercial, no? Surely Laufey would know that images of her would be fed into AI. She's openly spoken against it on all her platforms, so I do not know why she approved the use of the commercial if she despises. If her or her team weren't informed, won't stating that clear this whole situation up?

Rising freshmen here. My aim is to get into an Ivy League college as a PoliSci major. I wanted to know what APs I can take through my high schools career since they are my school's most rigorous classes. The problem? My school is severely understaffed and underfunded and students are only allowed to take 8 APs thought their 4 years in the school setting (no APs freshman year). They are also very strict with allowing who is able to self study APs. Should I take the time to try and convince my school to let me self-study an AP my freshman year? Should I only take what my school offers me? (sorry if this doesn't make sense its my first ever post on reddit)
