88 AC rebuild ?
This thing is growing on me but I live in one of the hottest spots.
The AC system seems original R12, the compressor kicks on when I jump the low pressure switch but when I vented the service port I only got a little puff of residual air from when I was testing the compressor so the system seems open not able to hold pressure.
What is the best path forward in restoring AC in my 88 Cherokee? Just replacing all factory components or is there a universal kit yall recommend?
I live in California if that matters, thanks!
