Can children get ILR with their parents if they have less than 5 years as Skilled Worker dependants?
If both parents are eligible for ILR in December 2026 (the mother as the main Skilled Worker applicant and the father as her dependant partner), can their children also apply for ILR at the same time?
The children became Skilled Worker dependant children in October 2022, so they will have less than 5 years on that visa by December 2026. However, they were already dependants of the main applicant under her previous Student visabefore switching to Skilled Worker.
Can the children apply under the requirement that “you and your child’s other parent are both currently applying to settle, or are already settled” from the link below: even though they have not held Skilled Worker dependant visas for 5 years?
Both children will be under 18.
I would really appreciate a heads up on this, please.
