Hi all, I just made this account to throw away and post here. I live in Pennsylvania and I recently had moved out and to make a long story short me and my gf had gotten some bad advice and moved out of a place before the lease was "fully up" (the lease stated that it will renew month to month after 1 year which ended in what was meant to be March, but we gave our 3 month notice in January I can go more in to it later if asked) and we had moved in March. We just today got an email from our old landlord saying they took 770 total out of our deposit for "oil tank damage" and "turning off electric". Before I try to talk to a lawyer I wanted the peoples opinion on this since lawyers are expensive and I already used a PA Bar Referral for a previous issue with this landlord and cant use it again.
