On July 1, 2026 I went to take my annual physical. At the my visit, my BP was 158/92. So, my doctor confirmed I have benign hypertension. Two days later, after a exercising (Elliptical running), cutting out sodium, and consuming BeetRoot capsules, I checked my blood pressure again and it was 128/88.

My doctor ordered me to do blood work because he stated that he fear my kidney may be impacted due to untreated blood pressure. I am scheduled for blood work tomorrow July 6. How would I know if my kidney is damaged? I’m kinda worried.
