Hey everyone,

the WHW has been on my bucketlist for quite a long time and we'll finally be able to do it in the last week of march 2027. Since we will be sleeping in hostels/ hotels the whole time, I am not so worried about the weather, but I don't really know what to expect.

I've looked at some pictures of Ben Nevis in March and decided against that because of all the ice and snow... Has anyone here done the WHW in march and could tell me a little about the trail conditions and/ or if any special equipment is necessary? Definitely do not want to be underprepared 😄
