Summer’s End

Hello 👋 Well folks, summer will soon bow out and autumn is next in line. On that note, I thought I would share with you my finished summer project. I bought this lamp from a seller in France several years back. It’s made of Spanish alabaster by Alabastros Alfredo Sarreal. The lovely figurine is a reproduction of Giuseppe Armani’s capodimonte “Lovers on a swing”. This was the longest restoration I’ve ever done and I’m very happy it’s finally finished.

We will be moving!

Well hello there. So, as most of you have painfully noticed by now, we are the only subreddit of "enthustasts" on Reddit. (Thanks for pointing that out, Rainoillamps.)
It has been driving me completely up the wall. Since Reddit, in its infinite wisdom, does not allow us to edit subreddit names, my options were: live with the shame, or start over. I've chosen door number two.
I am in the process of archiving everything here and moving it over to a new subreddit—one with the same name, but with the letter 'i' included. Think of it as an upgrade. Once the new sub is officially live, I'll pin a major announcement.
I'm asking you all to please migrate with us to the new, correctly spelled home. We'll leave this one open for a brief period in a read-only state, but eventually, it will be privatized. We'd hate to lose your expertise.
It's literally the same content, just with better spelling.

Best regards,

Gregg
