Translation:

Good afternoon, I have some news that my lawyer gave me today: Of the last few people going to their consular appointments at the embassy, the officers are keeping their passports. This may mean that the pause could soon be lifted.

This is from the same WhatsApp group that I talked about here: https://www.reddit.com/r/i130_75CountryPause/comments/1uewdgk/recent_eb3_consular_appointment_in_bogot%C3%A1_colombia/

I put it under Speculation, because I can't confirm this information first hand, but I trust the source, as the group has been level-headed and truthful so far.

Recent EB-3 consular appointment in Bogotá, Colombia

Hi, everyone.

My wife and I are in a WhatsApp group with other EB-3 applicants, and yesterday someone there had their consular appointment in the Bogota Embassy in Colombia. They were told that their case looked good, but it wasn't approved yet due to the pause, and they were handed this letter and told that further instructions would be sent to their email. They haven't gotten anything yet.

To those that don't read Spanish, this is an approval letter instructing the applicant to pay the Immigrant Visa fee.

I don't know what this means or what it implies for the pause, but I wanted to get your insight as well as that of the mods on what possible implications this could have.
