Is this 940 Legit?
Is this legit? The clip looks heavily worn, but the knife is brand new out of the box.
Compared to my other 940

I'm guessing it's a transitional model from around 1998-1999, where they had already added the pocket clip but hadn't added the safety latch yet. It still has the old logo and the original factory edge.
Joining its modern sibling. Absolute beauty.
How rare is a Presidio 5000 SBK with the old butterfly logo? I’ve been searching online and can't find any other photos of this exact combination
940CN-2504 International Limited Edition 1/1500
940-01 Limited Edition 09/50
They were manufactured 25 years apart.
I’ve got myself a little piece of history here. Can anyone shed some light on the details? My guess is it’s from the early 2000s.
I saw this beauty and just had to buy it. I managed to retrieve information through an archive site that preserved data from 2012 from the ACMA website. I’ll attach the translation from German to English for anyone who’s interested.

The Benchmade 9051 AFO Il is ACMA's most exclusive special edition to date. Designed as a highly professional
automatic knife for military and law enforcement use, the AFO belongs to Benchmade's Black Class. Unfortunately, due to its blade length, this knife has not been available for purchase in Germany until now.
The new, exclusive limited edition of the standard 9051 is manufactured for ACMA from M390 Böhler Super steel with a blade length of exactly 8.50 cm. The powder metallurgy M390 steel has a carbon content of 1.9% and a chromium content of 20%. This exquisite steel results in exceptional edge retention combined with outstanding corrosion resistance
The T6061 T6 aluminum handle has a sand-colored Ceracote coating, which gives the knife a very comfortable grip. Ceracote is a particularly hard, ceramic-based coating with very high abrasion resistance. It far surpasses conventional Teflon coatings. A strong spring gives the knife a great "sound" when it opens. Screws, push button, bone breaker, and clip are black. A sand-colored nylon sheath is included.
